Memo to PCC Academy Families

From: Lynn Tarnowski, Director

Dear PCC Academy Parents and Families:

Yesterday, I was informed that one of our employees was arrested by Middletown Township

Police for an incident that happened at Smoothie King with an adult female. This incident did

not happen on the daycare and school grounds. Once this incident was reported to me, this

employee was terminated immediately.

Please understand that we are shocked at this turn of events. I assure you that we are always

concerned about the welfare of your child first and we will never tolerate anything

improper that could potentially hurt your children. I have personally done interviews with all

workers and teachers, and no one has ever witnessed any such improper action from this worker,

nor have we received a complaint about this worker or experienced anything inappropriate

during his employment here.

I would like to also reassure you that PCC Academy complies with all necessary hiring and

administrative processes including: regular federal and state background checks as well as

mandated child abuse clearance on all employees. We are also compliant with Pennsylvania

yearly inspections and audits.

We are understanding of potential questions you may have. Please know we will continue to do

our very best to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your children and maintain prompt

communication with parents and families.
